Weather deck & rubbing bands

The weather deck framework is nearing completion but part of it will have to wait until I have built the drop keel trunk and had fabricated the keel itself which will be made of 10mm mild steel plate, galvanized. I will lower it into place inside the ballast keel slot and built the trunk around it as it's not practicable to raise the hull and fit it from beneath. Not enough headroom in the workshop. In the meantime I am repairing the rubbing bands as they are damaged throughout their lengths, some sections missing completely. I've probably spent over 60 hours so far repairing these bands.
